Partners & Collaborators

Collaborators

TorchIt values strategic partnerships as essential components of our operations, scalability, and social impact. Beyond purely funding relationships, our partnerships span various sectors and entities, each contributing uniquely to our mission

Government Entities

We collaborate with government agencies and departments for disability social welfare, and technology innovation. These partnerships facilitate access to funding, regulatory support, and policy advocacy. Additionally, government partnerships provide opportunities for us to contribute expertise, insights, and solutions to national disability inclusion initiatives and policy formulation processes. By aligning our objectives with government priorities, we amplify our social impact and promote systemic change at the policy level.

International Organizations

Partnerships with international organizations, such as the United Nations, WHO, RNIB, IDA, GDI Hub and UNESCO, enable us to leverage global networks, resources, and expertise. Through these collaborations, we participate in international forums, conferences, and working groups focused on disability inclusion and assistive technology. By sharing best practices, knowledge, and innovative solutions, we contribute to global efforts to advance disability rights and foster inclusive development. Additionally, international partnerships enhance our visibility, credibility, and access to funding opportunities on a global scale.

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)

Collaboration with NGOs working in the disability sector enhances our outreach, service delivery & training, and impact. We partner with NGOs to co-implement programs, conduct community outreach, and deliver assistive solutions to underserved populations. These partnerships enable us to reach remote and marginalized communities, customize interventions to local contexts, and ensure sustainability through community ownership and participation.

Academic Institutions

Partnerships with academic institutions such as IIT Madras, PDEU, IIT Mumbai, enrich our research, innovation, and talent development initiatives. We collaborate with universities, research centres, and academic experts to conduct research on disability-related issues, develop new assistive technologies, and evaluate the impact of our interventions. Academic partnerships facilitate knowledge exchange, capacity building, and access to cutting-edge research findings. By engaging with academia, we enhance the rigor and relevance of our work and contribute to advancements in the field of disability studies and assistive technology.

Corporate Entities

Collaboration with corporate entities, including technology companies, healthcare providers, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, enhances our access to resources, markets, and expertise. We partner with technology companies to leverage their technical capabilities and product development expertise in creating innovative assistive solutions. Additionally, collaborations with healthcare providers enable us to integrate assistive technologies into clinical settings and enhance service delivery to individuals with disabilities. CSR partnerships provide funding support, employee engagement opportunities, and access to corporate networks, amplifying our social impact and fostering corporate citizenship.
